Al's mom reached out to My Little Light Foundation in May of 2025 seeking help with her car payment. Thanks to donors like you, we were able to provide her with a financial assistance grant and toys for his siblings. Here is his story:

On December 20, 2022 Allen (Big Al) Owens was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at 17 months old. That same day, Allen, along with his mom and dad, was transported to St Jude in Memphis leaving his then 7 year old sister and 4 year old brother back home in Louisiana. Allen lived at St Jude for 6 months. He has had surgery, numerous procedures and countless doctor’s appointments. He is now back in Louisiana where he has doctor's appointments every Tuesday where he gets his chemo. He’s an amazing little guy who loves motorcycles, Bluey, monster trucks, baseball, and chocolate milk. God has been so gracious and has given Allen so much strength and courage! We can't wait for Allen to ring the bell in August 2025 surrounded by his friends and family!
